Research laboratories and Projects

 I  supervise two laboratories at the Faculty of Physics of Sofia University ― Particle physics laboratory, certificated for work with radioactive sources, and Laboratory for HEP-oriented Grid computing. I also participated in the establishment of a joint laboratory with the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy (INRNE) of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences for Production and tests of particle detectors.

At present, I lead one educational and five research projects:

      ● CMS, on the part of the University of Sofia / Ministry of Science and Education;

      ● CMS-related R&D work / Joint research project ‘Bulgaria – JINR’;

      ● Charmed and strange quarks in hadronic interactions / JINR, Dubna;

      ● Semileptonic and rare kaon decays / Bulgarian National Science Foundation;

      ● Establishment of a Grid node at the University of Sofia / National Science Foundation;

      SOCRATES programme in nuclear and particle physics / EU

 and participate significantly in:

      ● Simulation and analysis of complex physical systems / Ministry of Science and Education;

      ● Virtual screening and computer simulations for drug design  / Ministry of Science and Education;

      ● Bulgarian consortium for structural genomics and in silico drug design/ Ministry of Science and Education;
